Call me chicken
I was contemplating on running OS X on Mathilda, based on Nox's suggestion. Only: (1) I don't have a "legal" (heck, even an illegal) installer; and (2) I'm too chicken to try it out just yet.
So I did the next best thing: install FlyAKiteOSX on a Windows XP image in VMWare. Heh.
The installation was a breeze. There was a selection of what to install. I skipped a restore point -- I just took a snapshot in VMWare. Then a few clicks after that, it was installing.

It took a bit with VMWare as Mathilda was really taxed by now. She only has 40GB, and more than half is already spent. I was also running other apps as well. But after about five minutes, I rebooted and voila!
"Welcome to Windows", it says. Heh. :P

The performance was a bit slow. I had to turn off the shadowing thingamajig. But it was cool to behold. It's still Windows, though. All that was changed was the eyecandy. Now, if only I can borrow an OS X DVD...
