  • My wife just had an ultrasound exam to determine her gestation period. The baby's 13 weeks. Expected date of conception: 9 February 2007.

  • My son got perfect scores in his first quizzes. Just like his tatay...

  • My sister in Dubai now holds a great job at the Media City. Hopefully, she'll be able to hold on to this one a bit longer than the previous ones. Heh.

  • I found the secret to Chicken Teriyaki: the sauce. :P Mama Sita, donde esta el salsa de teriyaki?

  • I also found the perfect time to write: at 3:00 AM.

  • I finally got around to folding my son's origami safari animals. Ang galing ko daw. Heh, anak, wait 'til you get older, and tell me that again.

  • It's a holiday in Cork (Ireland -- my work's counterpart unit) on Monday, so it's a holiday for me as well.

  • I'm looking forward to see the folks at Pinoy.Tech.Blog on 9 August at Circles Shangri-la Edsa.

Pull files off Android phone

This assumes you have Android Debug Bridge (ADB) installed. This will pull all files from a directory in an Android phone. cd /path/to/destination/directory adb pull /path/to/source . As Julian says, "Easy-peasy, lemon squeezy." (I use this, by the way, since the Nexus 5 and OS X Mavericks refuse to work together in USB mode.)
