Life is good

  • My wife showed me printouts of the prenatal ultrasound she had for our new baby -- it's a healthy baby boy!

  • Gab and I made a kite. It didn't fly really well, but Gab was happy as a bee. His lolo bought him a decent-looking one, a thin plastic thingie with gossamer-like wings. Flew strong, that one. It was fun. (It was Gab's first time to fly a kite, and mine after, oh, about 20 years.)

  • After kite-flying, we had ice cream. What is it with ice cream and white shirts? Both are bound to meet each other eventually -- never fails. :P

  • Sunday, we went to church. Gab was yawning through the sermon, but he had this really good prayer about his baby brother. We're not religious, Peng (my wife) and I, and we plan not to impose anything on our sons. But seeing that Gab is discovering it himself, it gives us this warm fuzzy feeling inside that we're okay parents so far.

  • After church, we were off to the mall to buy toys for Gab, and clothes and other baby thingies for the little one. Couldn't find any set of three-ounce feeding bottles, though, so we settled for cutie Little Daniel clothes for now. (Yesterday, Peng phoned me that she and Gab were in the mall again, buying yet more clothes! Oh well.) We couldn't find a scooter for Gab, so he settled for a Justice League pic viewer. But he really wants a scooter, so I probably have to find one for him here somewhere.

We're okay so far. See title.
